Ok, I think MOST (not all) agree that rd 5 of Shogun/Hendo should've been scored 10-8, and ALOT of people also think Hendo should've gotten a 10-8 for his near stoppage of Shogun earlier.
The official score cards showed NO 10-8 rds.
HOWEVER earlier in the night Stephan Bonnar scored a 30-25 card in his victory.
So, stephan, who was in dominant position, but not doing all that much damage (love ya BONNAR!!!) gets not one, but TWO 10-8 rds, but Shogun MOUNTED the entire rd throwing punches DOESN'T?
Something NEEDS to be done, as these judges are getting ridiculous.

Judging in mma is a joke and its because there is no standard.
How in one night to do you score things one way,
then a couple fights later completely another way.
It makes no sense, and I can only imagine its confusing for a fighter.
Because the fans sure get confused.
Joe Rogan on the podcast said the judges dont even use the monitors to help watch the fight. That's pretty retarded. The judges need to be replaced.

It's pathetic because in this particular situation, it's not even a seperate NIGHT of fights! It's the SAME night. the SAME judges. And it's not even ONE 10-8 rd, its TWO 10-8 rds given earlier.
Is the side mount THAT much more dominant a position than the mount??? :) unreal.

Probably a different set of judges. Who were the judges in Bonnar's fight and who were the judges in the Shogun/Hendo fight?
i really wish i didnt know this information, the fact that bonnar got 2 10-8 rounds makes me sick to my stomach, no offense to bonnar but he never even came close to stopping that fight. shogun had mount for the whole round and was throwing punches non stop and trying to end it

Hmmm.. well, it'd be interesting to know if they were the same or different. It could help explain why there was such discrepency, but doesn't make the fact that there can be such drastic differences in scoring in the same night ok.
