Reyes hasn’t fought since November 2022, is on a 4 fight losing streak, and somehow still ranked 14th in the division. What in the WMMA is that shit?

I hope with all this time between fights, Reyes has been able to develop more tools other than his straight left and left body kick. He became way too predictable and relied on his power. I just remember before his last fight he was talking up his refined defense and went out there sloppy and paid for it.

Maretta is also another person who was never the same or winning much after the Jones fight, much like Dom
Depending on the outcome of this fight, Reyes has had one of the most rapid declines we have seen in modern MMA. He never won a championship but went from being the best at 205 outside of Jones and arguably beating him, to being 1-4 in his last 5, hasn’t won a fight since 2019, and his last 3 have been bad knockouts.
I hope he wins but in reality I hope he makes it out of there with his consciousness intact.
