Dubbed or Subtitles!

Do you guys prefer dubbing in English or Subtitles when watching an instructional?

I'd prefer an instructor who speaks english.

Yes, I would too. But if you had a Brazilian that only could speak Portugese - which one would you prefer, or would it matter?

dubbed

Dubbed.

Subtitles have their place in movies because they allow the viewer to hear the original nuance in inflection and emotion. For an instructional this is not necessary.

Dubbed !

i would like the option of both actually

Dubbed,
You need to hear the details,
se the move and then eventually feel the move.

dubbed!

what about voiceovers?

dubbed, but can i ask, what set you are making where you are gonna need to dubb it......???????? Thanks!!!!

Dubbed definitely. You don't want to try to look at two places on the screen at once.

OK. Thanks for the response.

Subtitles are a bad idea for instructionals. The way Marcelo Garcia's dubbing over was done was perfect. Just make sure it's translated well and no little details are left out. What I really liked about Garcia's DVD's was that the voiceover included the emotion and stressed certain words which helped out.

why can't you have the option of both a la movie DVD's?
