Duffy: I can take [McGregor] out quick

<p>Joseph Duffy, who is also now in the UFC, was the last man to defeat Conor McGregor and believes if the two fight the result will be the same:</p>
"Nothing Conor says can get under my skin" Duffy said. "If it was somebody who I cared about, like my family, saying this, yeah maybe. But Conor's opinion doesn't matter to me. He can say what he wants, and it doesn't change the way I would fight him. It doesn't change the fact that I think I would still beat him. None of that stuff changes. None of that will ever get under my skin."
As for how a potential rematch would play out, Duffy says it won't be too different from their first bout that lasted 38 seconds.
"I believe I can take Conor out just as quickly," he said. "Everyone notices Conor has greatly improved, but so am I. Everything Conor does, I feel I can beat him at. He uses more kicks, I've been doing taekwondo since I was five. There's not an area I feel he can beat me."
Duffy has my support. I'm a fan, and I'm glad he's speaking up. I want him to go full out asshole to McGregor only. He's humble, and I like that about him, but with McGregor I hope he just starts rubbing it in that he kicked his ass already. I hope he tells him to his face that he's been whooped already, forced to tap, rub it in until Conor is begging Dana for redemption.
This will be Duffy's real test. Dustin is on two fight win streak since Conor loss. And his last win was against Yancy who couldn't make weight so can't really say impressive. Conor also exposed his worn chin and Duffy looks more fresh and durable. Duffy has advantage in standing but Dustin could catch him in a sub cuz Duffy did lose couple times via submission. I think Duffy has a better chance.
As an Irishman and a Dublin native I would actually be squarely in the Duffy camp if they were to fight again. Personally I prefer the humble fighter to the Mayweather-esque "look how much more money I have than you".
I know some of Conor's stuff is for show but a lot of it is not.
He needs to be brought back to reality and if Jose doesn't do it, Duffy may very well be the man to.

I feel like his chin isn't worn its just the weight cut to 145 that made him a bit chinny.
