Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor

clearly he cracked it from a leg kick and when he tried to stand it finally cracked. it wasn’t the ankle… for sure the bottom of the leg. shit happens.

The way he made sure to dry his feet off before entering the cage stood out to me.

This is what im thinking. I find it hard to believe that it just broke just like that on that sequence.

Yeah man, you’ve told us 11 times. We get it.

If watched 100,000 fights, I’ve seen 1,000,000 checked kicks, I’ve never seen someone’s ankle fall apart like that, of the 3-4 major freak injury wins I’ve seen, the winner of this freak injury should get the least credit.

At least Weidman was checking Silva’s kick, at least Hall was checking Weidman’s kick, McGregor and Poirier both whiffed punches and McGregor took a step and broke his ankle/leg.

@Soul_Gravy that doesn’t look like an ankle

Real bad look for Conor in that interview after the fight. I always liked that he would turn the persona off after the fight. Handled it very poorly this time.

See what you wanna see. Im interested in seeing any similar incidents. We’ve seen leg breaks like Weidman and Anderson in MMA and KB. Ive personally never seen an incident like this, sorry for asking questions.

His MMA analysis is awful

Correct

Go home, you’re drunk. You just saw all this tonight. Did you not see the replays of the kicks? Cormier and Rogan both agreed that the kick check compromised his ankle. They replayed it a few times.

They took a look at the claim but I don’t think they concluded that Conor’s injury was due to throwing a strike or parrying a strike.

freakiest of freaky injuries. i thought he showed better stand up than dustin tonight but he should retire. he just doesn’t seem to have it in him anymore to be a killer. dustin has a grit that conor doesn’t have.

Conor doesn’t fight Nate yet, I think Conor either does a bounce back fight against someone he’s supposed to knockout and then goes off and does Pac/Paul fight, and Diaz 3 and Poirier 4 are 8 figure paydays Conor can keep in his back pocket for years.

Conors ankle was sold to Proximo Spirits for $100 million. Conor wins again.
