It’s not a freak injury. If you don’t know how to check leg kicks, or if you do it wrong, we are seeing these injuries happen more and more often now.

I trained for a decade and have watched the sport for 15 years you dumb faggot. I’ve seen a lot of checked kicks, I’ve never seen a fighters leg fall apart 4 minutes later after having his kick checked. It’s the definition of a freak injury.

Also Conor doesn’t have the heart to fight through having a fractured leg from a kick. I love Conor but he didn’t fight 4 minutes off his back eating hellbows with a hurt leg, Conor would have looked for the first way out of the fight and turtled up if he felt something off with his leg.
