They’re showing the replays now and you can clearly see his ankle bulge on the checked kick and then Dustin points down at it. Conor was ginger on it afterwards. Well played Dustin.

Gonna be hard to find a video right now, but Cormier and Rogan both agreed that it compromised his ankle. They replayed it a few times.

It was pretty obvious. You could literally see Conor’s ankle bulge out of place at the moment of impact and then Dustin points down to it immediately. Conor throws a punch right after and then shifts his weight off of that leg in an obvious attempt to protect it.

I need to see the vid youre referencing op, bc the vid others are claiming was a check, wasnt a check at all. Dustin got the shit kicked out of his leg (in that particular clip)
A teep kick yes…but then the punch right after that.
It wasn’t a traditional check, more of a step back distance check to make Conor land short on the knee. It worked.
