What I loved about EA MMA was the striking system - the character's reacted better to being hit - and the combos felt more realistic, kinda like the fight night system. I haven't played the game in months, still have it here - gunna give it another bash tomorrow :)

EA Sports dominates NFL and NHL because they're have the exclusive license. PES is better than FIFA. 2K kills Elite.
They're good with Fight Night and MMA.
EA MMA has the better striking.
EA MMA has the better takedown system.
EA MMA has WAY better headmovement.
EA MMA has the ability to get rocked by liver shots.
EA MMA has one punch KO's where the opponent stiffens up at the joints like in real life sometimes.
EA MMA has a dynamic blood/cut/bruising system.
EA MMA has a WAY better submission system.
EA MMA has a better combo system for strikes.
EA MMA has better graphics.
EA MMA has better footwork.
EA MMA has a WAY better, more true to life damage meter system and stamina meter system.4
UFC has better presentation.
UFC has a better ground game. (Auto Transition blocks was HORRIBLE, glad its gone.)
UFC has better submission choices.
UFC has better strike variety.
UFC has better "signature styles", although the footwork sucked ass!
UFC has better cage work.
UFC has better commentating.
UFC has better takedown slams and animations for takedowns.

FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION SUCKS!!!! Played it since day one almost everyday, traded it in recently because I just got pissed off by how it wasn't true to Boxing.
