Anyone know anyting about this? I am not talking about tubes. I went to an ENT dr. this morning and then to the Audiologist then back to the ENT.
The ENT put me on some meds and said that it may be a bad viral infection BUT I have to go get an MRI because most likely I have some non-cancerous... benign.... tumpr like things on whatever it is that goes from my ear to my brain.
He said that it can be corrected with surgery. He did not tell me anything else. I have to go back next tuesday again and have another hearing test to see if these meds worked at all. I am not sure they will b/c I went the meds route already.
I am wondering if they are usually outpatient and how long is recovery. I do not have a lot of sick days from work because these dr. appointments are draining them
