According to noted oddsmaker Nick Kalikas of BetOnFighting.com, it's none other than Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar. "The Answer" is the -130 favorite heading into his UFC 136 showdown in Houston, Texas against Gray Maynard on Oct. 8.
"The Bully" stands as the slight underdog at +100.
ryanisagarrett - That sounds about right. Edgar won the last fight anyway <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
Thought is was a draw?
Praynard won the first fight and is undefeated.I think it's crazy how a fighter can be fovoured just because he hold a belt, even though Praynard should have got the shot before him.
i think it's because in the last fight Maynard landed a punch whose momentum let him ragdoll Edgar around for the first round but not finish him. After 1 minutes rest Edgar bounced back and won the majority of rounds. Without that punch Maynard loses...can he land it again?
NOBODY cares abou this fight. NOBODAY even cares to talk about it here which is wy there are only 14 replys (15 including mine)on it. I like Frankie, but fro some reason for a very hyper fighter, he is not exciting to watch.
It's just the conclusion to one of the best LW fights of all time. No biggie.
I mean, shit, that fight had everything. Drama for days, and amazing display of heart and determination, displays of elite skill in all areas of MMA, etc., etc.
