We will be looking at stores where items are selected by app or kiosk, and the items will be automatically picked and bundled by sorting machines after payment. As AZ is working on, you can purchase and pay for your items ahead of time, and you can pick up at your leisure.
I'm thinking that the pre-paid items from an app could be triggered for picking and bundling when your phone is within a a certain range geographically (based on GPS).
Maybe items that need to actually be seen, like meat and fish, could be behind a counter like it is now, and you can inspect, and the person (butcher, etc) can wrap and hand to you AFTER payment.
Just spit-balling here. Help me think of other technology-based solutions
