Anyone on here ever have a problem with chronic elbow hyperflexion on the lead hand? That is, does your lead hand ever get jammed by incoming right hands, pushing your arm into a hyperflexed position?
This injury is pissing me off and won't go away. I'm seriously considering switching to southpaw if I don't find a way to address it soon.
I find myself doing something like quite often, actually. I'll cover in a similar fashion and try to time left hooks off my opponent's punches. However, I don't want to be restricted to that.
I started training southpaw on Sunday, and I'll stick with it for a couple of months to give my arm a chance to heal all the way. I figure it will be good for me in the long run anyway.
