Elliot Hulse

Your sunglasses are too big so im gonna stop listening to you.

If I actually looked like the girl in sunglasses, any man would listen to anything I say.

Further, you passed the test. To any heterosexual man, I should be completely invisible in that picture. Good work.

lol

jeremy hamilton - I don't know, just saw a video he posted that says "Squats do not strengthen your core". Didn't listen to what he had to say about it but if he thinks that then I would like to challenge him to a punching each other in the stomach contest. See who goes down first.

Also, he is skinny so he loses a lot of credibility with me.

I saw that but didn't watch the video. He makes thm sometimes here the title is the opposite of his message. Don't know if that's the case here, but I would asume it is.

Lifts a lot of weight for a "skinny dude", imo.

Tilla - He knows his stuff, but I can't help but think that 99.9% of it is the work of others.

Saying that though, Elliot is a BEAST. His single leg box jump is mindblowing, and his Deadlifts are pretty fucking crazy as well.

Seem's like a pretty deep dude, and you can't knock him for helping others.

I always watch his channel.

umm that's a good thing, there. He's very well read, from Emerson and Thoreau to Boyle, Rippetoe, Wendler, and Paul Chek, Dr. Calton, etc. He's knowledgeable in all areas of nutrition (vegan, raw, paleo, etc), to strength training to strongman training. It's what makes him quite fun to listen to.

Also, he uses "big words" only because they already have been defined and conceptualized so he uses them. His 4 pillars of strength stuff is my favorite.

He does say a LOT of nutty shit though, and a lot of is not really SnC but "lifestyle" stuff. He talks about women and relationships a lot as well.

He once said that you can get a work out chest pressing two pencils if you create high tension -- I literally almost pissed myself laughing.

just watched it, it was basically a video titled "squats do not strengthen your core" that should have been titled "squats do not NECESSARILY strengthen your core"

that's how you know someone didn't watch the video...he ALWAYS makes these "shocker" headlines for his videos but usually doesn't go by the headline/

Seeing as he use to be a professional strongman I think he knows a thing or two about squats. Go watch his old videos of him raw squatting in competitions. Phone Post 3.0

Not sure if you are talking to me or not. Maybe link to these competition squats.

He probably was joking with his headline on his video and i'm sure he does know a thing or two.

That said, I still have not seen anything that impresses me about his strength.

Elliott is a friend of mine and a super strong guy. I've had a lot training discussions with him and he's trained at my gym quite a few times. He's pretty smart on training, his website is over the top, but that's what attracts your average bro, I suppose. I've seen him deadlift around 600 with an axle, which is nothing to shake your pecker at and he's not super huge, about 235 and he's reasonably lean. He's also not a one trick pony, he's got good conditioning and strength, especially with odd objects.

I later went back and watched the vid as well. He also identified "core" as basically your entire CNS from your head down through the trunk "core" of yoru body. Not just your abs.
