FUEL TV officials today announced the channel will on Monday debut a new 30-minute special entitled "UFC 101: The Fundamentals" designed to teach the basic principles of the sport to beginners.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and three-time UFC title challenger Kenny Florian host the show, which debuts on Monday, Sept. 3, at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Dubbed a "crash course in MMA," the show focuses on the basic fundamentals of the sport, beginning with an explanation of the various weight classes used in the UFC and how the fighting styles of each division vary from each other. The program then goes on to demonstrate many basic martial arts techniques used in MMA and explains how different fighters will incorporate different strategies in order to keep the fight in their preferred realm of combat.

Why not call it MMA 101?



I know for a fact that a lot of people get annoyed when they hear people say things like "I fight UFC". This will not exactly help lol.



Ohh and UFC 101... With Kenny Florian?
