<p>A slugfest between Kimbo Slice and Houston Alexander is looking like a strong possibility for UFC 107.
A source close to the situation advised FiveOuncesofPain.com today that although no bout agreements have been sent, at least one of the fighters has been formally approached about the possibility of the bout.

JackFunk - How does a guy with losses to Gannon, Petruzzi, and Nelson keep getting fights?
Only the Petruzelli fight is on his record. The Gannon fight was a street brawl and the Nelson fight was a 2 round TUF fight.
petruzelli doesn't count either, seth hit him in the back of the head after he stunned him with a jab
kimbo said himself he felt like he was robbed at a gunpoint after the fight, horrible reffing
kimbo takes the rematch any way he wants
That's funny hearing about Kimbo crying about a ref decision. Considering the ref should have stopped his fight when JT was destroying him on the ground.
lol at "a source close to the situation." Is this the same source that was close to the Fedor/UFC situation? Or is it the source that was close to the Brock/Fedor grappling situation? Earth to MMA reporting: stop passing off speculation as news.
Last time I heard anything about this Houston said it was still all rumors.
It'd be cool if it happened, but Houston is a solid 208 or so and Kimbo is what, 235? Houston doesn't care but I find it odd that the UFC would match guys 30lbs apart (other than in the HW division of course)
Of course, but Houston isn't gonna pack on 30 lbs in 2 months. He's still probably gonna weigh in just around 210 or so, for a HW fight... seems odd to me they would make this match.
Not to mention announcing anything about the fate of Kimbo before TUF is over kinda jacks up all their pretty editing about Kimbo MAYBE coming back into the picture, etc. and so forth
