Good stuff OP. I remember back in the mid-80’s when I was in grade 10 and I used to skip clas to hang out in the library and read a couple books they had on the history of boxing, and I loved reading about Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe Walcott and all the great fighters from years gone by.

When he fought Marciano, he suffered from a spinal Condition where he couldn’t move the way he usually could and ended up having to slug it out with Rock more than usual. As it were, he ripped Rocky’s nose to shreds but went down eventually.
