"Fast" Eddy Ellis (www.eddyellis.com) has signed to replace Duane Ludwig facing Steve Berger at Strikeforce at the Dome February 23 in Tacoma, WA.
A former student of Dennis Hallman, Eddy is a crafty grappler with explosive striking. He currently runs a successful MMA gym in Lacey, WA with his girlfriend, and fellow mixed martial artist, Lisa Ward.
Ellis, 24, competed in his 20th professional fight just 2 weeks before his 21st birthday beating Team Quest standout Chris Wilson...and not getting to attend the afterfight party held at a local sports bar.
This is a great opportunity for Eddy getting to face a well known fighter in front of his home town. He currently holds the XFC welterweight title (X Fighting Championship is a local professional event).
