I really don't think Barnett offers much of a challenge to Fedor style-wise, other than the fact that they're friends and Fedor might hold back a bit, but it's really the only fight left for Fedor in the world at HW right now-- he's pretty much cleaned out the weight class, until someone else like Carwin or Lesnar can prove to be an elite enough fighter to deserve a shot at him

Yes, please. Fedor-Barnett is the most compelling matchup left in the HW division. (And no other opponent would really even be close except for the winner of Brock-Mir.)
Barnett is the most proven and firmly established top HW left for Fedor. The perennial top HW's of the previous several years had been Fedor, Nog, Cro Cop, Barnett, Sylvia, and Arlovski - and Fedor has now beaten all of them, except for Barnett.
So as of now, ideally the order of dream matchups for Fedor would be Barnett followed by the winner of Brock-Mir. Everything else is really a cut below.
(Although a substantial contingent seems to be clamoring for Alistair now as well - and admittedly, he has looked like a monster lately.)
But honestly, a Tito matchup would probably be the smartest one that Affliction could possibly make. From a pure sport and merit-based perspective, Barnett is far more worthy - but from a business perspective, Tito (or even Kimbo, unfortunately) would be far more effective and draw far more viewers.
Selfishly, I really hope it is Barnett, though. The one long-term dream fight left in the HW division, which is still at its full peak.

He probably wants 7 figures to fight Fedor rather than his $500,000 he earned for beating Gilbert Yvel. That's why Affliction has burned through so much money. Giving a guy a half million to beat Gilbert Yvel? He's not even a top 15 HW.
I guess Barnett doesn't realize he's not a draw. Basically no one outside the hardcore base has any clue who he is. If Barnett is holding Affliction up for 7 figures, I don't blame Tom Atencio for not making the Fedor/Barnett fight. It's not worth it at that price

Whether or not Fedor fights Barnett on this card, I think it's the final event for Affliction. Just a hunch.
