He DOES care what people think. In essence you're only what people perceive you to be, so you try to put out what you want people to think of you. Why would you put out this cocky, ass of a person? Tim wants people to see this tough, unaffected guy so he comes off all cocky and shit. I don't know him personally but he strikes me as the kid that got beat up a lot and then grew like a mug and isn't gonna be that victim anymore but just comes off wrong to people. You can argue he doesn't care, and he might not, I don't know, but if he didn't care he wouldn't make excuses imo.

I use to not mind watching Tim fight a while ago. I could care less about the physique and attitude( although the injury comment solidified his prick status in my book), he did knock people out. Then when he wins his precious title, he will do anything he can to protect it. Even if it means nothing but jabs and sprawls. Hopefully he learned that not only does this style piss off paying fans(he didnt care if it did anyways), but it doesnt work when you fight top tier fighters. Lets hope that we see a hungry Tim, now that he doesnt have to worry about losing his pride and joy belt

Last night was a no win situation for Tim. If he goes out and destroys Randy then he has beat up a legend and people will hate him. If he makes a boring fight and keeps his belt people will hate him. If he goes out there and gets whipped (like he did) but is contrite and respectful then maybe people will give him the benefit of the doubt. But, to go out there and mention an "injury" after the beating he took, people will hate him forever . . . and they should.

It wasn't a "no win" situation for him. Tim coulda gained some fans by simply being humble, congratulating Randy, and saying "I'll be back." Instead he discredits Randy by pulling the injury comment. If he had shown some humility I think I woulda felt soryy for him. I'd say to myself, "He doesn't seem like a bad guy, we all shouldn't be hatin on him."

Look, Randy is fucking 43, He's been involved in combat sports of some fashion longer than Tim has been alive, I would feel pretty safe betting that Randy's back hurts all the time. However, being the total opposite of Tim, one showing total class and humility, Randy would never mention this, especially right after losing a fight. Tim is a douche, he's a oaf with no class, I hope he loses one more so the UFC can justify cutting him and send him to shows I don't watch / follow.
tim's a jackass. i actually felt bad for him while he was taking that beating, because i know how much the belt means to him. i am in no way a tim fan either. as soon as he made that "injury" comment i went back to hating him again.
