The crowd was actually pretty calm when he was talking (smattering of boos, but nothing like his entrance), until he made the injury comment. I had to actually ask someone who saw the PPV what he said after that, because the whole arena erupted with boos at that point.
He completely cemented himself in the "we hope you never fight again" zone with that one.
I dislike Tim as much as the next guy, but I actually do feel a bit bad for him!
I mean, I just dont think he really gets it.
Wearing your belt everywhere = people think ur a goof
Busted for roids = people think your a goof
Shitting your pants during a fight = people think ur a goof
Not wanting to engage & finish Monson = people thin ur a goof
Looking like he looks = people think ur a goof
Complaing about early stoppage after Mir snapped your arm = people think your a goof
Half blaming an injury for ur beatdown at the hands of a coming out of retirment, 43 yr old = people think ur a goof
As you can see the list goes on and on!
But I feel bad that he must think everyone out side of MFS dislikes him.
As long as hes not fighting a fighter I cheer for, he could win for all I care!
But if hes fight Couture, CC, AA, I will always hope he gets a major league ass whooping.
