It will be interesting to see what the opening line is on the Roxy vs. Maycee fight. I'm guessing Maycee will be about a -300 favorite.
In a recent interview with ESPN, Barber said, "The whole reason why we moved out to Wisconsin was with the intent to start training, or at least start building a relationship, with Ben Askren....We've done a lot of research trying to figure out who the best in the game is, and ... high-level wrestling is something that had been missing, I feel like, from my game."
Askren was impressed by what he saw. He told ESPN: "Maycee picks up stuff at an incredible rate, which shows that she's committed to learning the stuff," Askren said. "When I show her or make a suggestion, usually later that practice or the next one she is implementing the technique in real time, flawlessly."

Lots of fighters get to a point in their careers where they get matched with an undefeated prospect or future title contender they should lose to, but the promoter thinks it will be beneficial to the prospect because the veteran is durable and has more fights at the top of the game…We saw Cub Swanson defeat Kron Gracie under somewhat similar circumstances.

With all respect I don’t see the uFC looking at Roxy being another title contender, at all. I think Cub stands much better chances at his stage in his career. Seems like a clear cut feeder fight for Barber.
