Fight clock in the bottom center of the screen?

I might be completely wrong because i haven't seen it in action, but I'm a huge fan of footwork. The idea of the clock being pushed to the middle seems like it's going to block a lot of what I like about MMA.
I think their was reasoning many moons ago when they put the clock in the bottom corner of the screen. Opinions? Phone Post 3.0
