A 5-2 pro boxer brutally KOed a 1-5 ammy MMA fighter on Saturday on the BKFC card. Not a high profile fight but thats a perfect example of a fight that should never have happened.
Ron Waterman fighting that obese blue belt that got in the UFC in his MMA debut because he knew someone in the office is one of the worst mismatches ever in UFC history, right up there with Gall vs CM Punk.

Fuck that - I would watch that guy get smashed on a weekly basis.
Seeing my all-time favorite minotauro nogueira matched up with roy nelson didn’t make me too happy.
Unfortunately it played out as i feared it would.
Putting Nog in with a heavy hitter like that at that stage of his career was not good matchmaking.
