First match I've seen in years...

Tonight's bout was the first I've seen in years, I've only watched MMA for quite a while now. Two things really stuck out to me tonight...

1) Hand speed... Holy shit. I mean, I guess it should be obvious that a professional boxer will be able to throw hands much quicker than an MMA fighter, but when you haven't seen a match in a long time the quickness REALLY stands out. Some of PBF's jabs were literally hard to see.

2) The scoring system is and will always be a joke. When you watch an MMA fight, after 3 5 minute rounds you can say with relative confidence how the scoring will go. Rarely do you get one of those "are you kidding me?" moments. In boxing, there is always one judge who was clearly watching a different fight. Maybe they need to go to a figure skating system with 7 judges where the top and bottom scores are thrown out or something. And judges wearing eye patches should be strictly prohibited.

1st Boxing PPV I ordered since Roy Jones Jr. got destroyed by Antonio Tarver the 1st time. Also, my last boxing PPV.

Was it that bad?
