Floyd 8 million richer

lol at the hate.

Dude - hate him because he has 10 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms / and 9 cars worth over 2 million. Don't hate his game.

> What's this Floyd guy weigh? With $8 Million dollar skills he should easily beat the champ at his weight class ***in MMA**... right? I don't think so.

Hey Ethan, a better question is, why doesn't the current UFC champ at his weight class turn pro boxer and try to fight for $8million???...

B,

Because MMA fighters are better and it's not worth their time.

lol

> Some would say Margarito.

we'll see...

Victor why at 147 ? Floyd made it at 130, Oscar at 147, 160. all the way up to Tyson at Heavy.

Point is. Why are MMA fighters fighting for $100k when they can make 8 mill?

Bong = MMA fighters not so smart.

I mean really. They train for boxing - so why not - go make 5 + million boxing ?

> Because there is no 147lb weight class in the UFC....

Yawnnnn... yeah I know... but I also realized that Ethan's post was a hypothetical... you either didnt read the earlier post, or missed the point...

ahhh.. I see iBelieve has helped u out...

LOL @ all the people complaining and don't even have a green name.

> The guy specified Floyd's weight class, which is currently 147.

The 'guy,' who was playing along with an earlier hypothetical from someone who even said they didnt know Floyd's weightclass, didn't bother pointing out the fact in order to avoid 3 or 4 posts wasting bandwidth discussing the meaninglessness of the 147 lb distinction to the point... but, you came along...

BS - I disagree... don't top out at 170

LOL @ one pro fighter complaining about another pro fighter getting a good pay day.

> You can bill me for it.

Nah.. it's on me.. I made a little bit tonight on the fight going the distance... my treat.

"If you mean why don't MMA fighters cross over to boxing to make more money, it's because they'd get destroyed. You know this and I know this." <--- I agree

"If you mean why the top MMA promotions aren't paying their top guys that kind of cash, that's a whole different story." <--- This is what I was originally trying to get at but failed to do so.

> that's a whole different story

Someone tell the story then, pls.

"Dude - hate him because he has 10 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms / and 9 cars worth over 2 million. Don't hate his game."

Why would I hate him because he's rich? Pacquaio is rich and so is Morales, but I'm certainly looking forward to Pacquiao-Morales III.

Difference is, they face the top guys in their division.

a non heavy making in the + millions = best pbp competitor at his sport. mma is a different beast, why change sport and make less $$$$$$

LOL... that article is hilarious...

even "fighting off his backfoot," Mayweather managed to land well more than 2x as many punches, and connected on 43% of his punches to Baldo's 12%...

nogo ya fighting the same guy 4 times really proves how great you are lol

Mayweather makes his op look dumb - he is that good.

Hey Ethan Boyle, when you choose a sport you realize the cash potential in it, so there is no point in bitching about pay disparity after the fact. You don't train, spend thousands of hours of your life becoming a table tennis player, then bitch about the fact that you can't make tennis player money. Same applies to MMA. If you wanted to become a pro and have a chance to make millions you should have entered boxing. You didn't. YOU chose a lower paying sport. That was your decision. Deal with it. Boxers have been making massive paydays since Jack Dempsey. This is nothing new..
