<p>Recently UFC champion Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather have had a war of words in social media and through the press, but most recently when talking about the UFC Women's Bantamweight champion, Mayweather was non-adversarial, even wishing the 'best' for her:</p>
Floyd Mayweather struck a generally positive note recently when asked about UFC champion Ronda Rousey. "I didn't know who she was, you know? I wish her nothing but the best. Good luck with everything," he told Fight Hub TV.
"Like I said before, I don't really know too much about Ronda Rousey."
Good for him. He has nothing to gain from saying anything bad about her, despite the sudden national conversation about who would win in a real fight, he or the female MMA fighter.
Actually, that debate is precisely why Mayweather shouldn't say much of anything, given his long history of domestic abuse.
I think it's kind of funny ronda got bent out of shape because Floyd didn't know who she was. Is that some kind of travesty in her mind? Or does she just assume it was a dig because she's so famous how could anyone not know her? Her responding to that just made her look so petty.

Rousey got her panties in a bunch over this whole thing and is using it to further leverage her name into public consciousness. And good for her, I suppose.
It shouldn't be beyond comprehension to understand why Floyd wouldn't have known who Rousey is. If she was better advised, her response to a reporter asking about her feelings about Floyd's "snub" would've been to ask "Floyd who?" with a smile and keep it moving.
This Ronda vs. Floyd shit is the absolute epitome of TMZ-MMA culture that Robin Black tiraded upon. Every interview with Ronda they start asking if she is more proficient in her sport than a person of a different gender, a different sport, and different weight class. So dumb.
