Foot Pain

I've got some kind of injury/pain that i'm not sure how to deal with.

The pain starts at the back of the heel where you would normally get blisters from shoes that are too tight. The pain extends from that point along the outside edge of my foot up to the "pinky knuckle." It's not on the skin, but inside the foot and is most intense in the morning, but warms up and subsides as the day goes on.

It's been about 6 weeks and not much improvement even though I've taken it easy on training.

Any suggestions?
