A few of us used to train BJJ at Schriever AFB back around 2003, and would occasionally head to the Air Force Academy to train with a pretty solid blue belt who also posted here a bit. We were just reminiscing and trying to remember who the instructor was, as we’ll be back in the Springs in a few weeks.
Good times, picking up what we could from old Pedro Carvalho tapes, hunting down blue belts to learn from, and taking the occasional trip to Boulder to see the only semi-local black belt we knew of at the time(Amal Easton).
