“The California Kid” is making another return to MMA

Former UFC title challenger and hall of famer Urijah Faber is set to make a return to MMA in the coming months.
After initially retiring in 2016, “The California Kid” made a UFC comeback in 2019 where he stopped Ricky Simón before going on to lose to Petr Yan at UFC 245.
Now, Faber is back once again and he’s going to be stepping back inside the cage with his own promotion, Urijah Faber’s A-1 Combat.
An Instagram video from the promotion’s president, Tom Anderson, announced their next two upcoming shows and the return of a pioneer.
Following A-1 Combat 20 on May 17th, May 25th will feature their 21st event and will be hosted at the Visalia Convention Center in California.
Faber will compete in the main event though there is currently no opponent announced for his comeback fight.

Since June 2nd 2008, Faber is 0-7 in title fights. His opponent should push that the fight be for the A-1 title.
That being said its kinda funny that Faber won the GC, KOTC and WEC titles and defended them 10x but all the newer fans know is if you got Faber in a title fight in the past 16 years, he is gonna lose.
