Former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan used his submission skills to fend off a home invader and subdued the man with a rear-naked-choke. TMZ broke the story:
Daniel Bryan and his wife Brie spoke about the incident during a press conference … and the wrestler said he sprung into action because he was worried about their dog, Josie, who was in the house.
The wrestling star says it wasn’t difficult to subdue the burglar because the guy wasn’t in great shape. However he wouldn’t say if the thief was rendered unconscious.
For those who dont know Bryan has trained at Randy Couture's Xtreme Couture gym.
More importantly he trained at the Texas Wrestling Academy under another champion Shawn Michaels. The burglar is just lucky Daniel didn't decide to give him a lil sweet chin music.

Daniel Bryan is pretty legit as a grappler. He has trained out of CSW and Extreme Couture. He considered an MMA career before he got signed by the WWE.
