"Frank Shamrock vs Ceasar Gracie finally will happen in mid March. The fight is scheduled to take place in San Jose, California for the Strike Force promotion. Shamrock apparently is expected to fight in Japan after this fight, as I hear Sakuraba wants to face Frank, but in order to fight in Japan, he has to fulfill the signed contract to face Gracie first. That's why this fight is on the fast track to finally happen and it looks as though Strike Force event will take place in San Jose in mid March."

Why not a bigger show like the UFC?? Maybe monday's announcement?

You guys are kidding right? Have Forrest and Bonnar headline a UFC card in Vegas and have Cesar Gracie vs Frank Shamrock headline at the Staples Center and you will see who would make more money. Outside of the UG and long time MMA fans, no one will know Cesar Cracie and Frank Shamrock are.

Frank Shamrock will not fight in the UFC because he demands Video rights to his fights. He has to own the footage of his fight. A LA Dana Paying Frank Royalties to show the fight on UFC unleashed later on.... LOL
