At about the 4:50 mark you see Saignac being pressured against the ropes and he fires off a lowline kick/sweep that threw his opponent off balance and gave him space to circle away. Pretty slick!"

Im glad you found a clip regarding the saignac clinch stuff. If you have the hvs video, of which I have somewhere in my archives, Saignac uses some great footwork/sweeps to deal with the clinch quite a bit. Mark wasn't pulling any punches!

Some of the Savate matches on the youtube do show these same sweeps btw.

I wouldn't say they were sparring hard, but yeah, if you watch the same clip, at about 6:20 you see Stewart catch Saignac will a spinning kick to his supporting leg that took him down. Pretty slick, also. And judging by the reaction on Saignac's face, you could see it surprised him.
