Friday's Bellator 241 will be held in empty arena

As have a number of other state governors, Connecticut's Ted Lamont has signed an executive order prohibiting any gathering in excess of 250. Although Mohegan Tribe is a sovereign nation, Mohegan AC head and past president of the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports Mike Mazzulli is honoring the order, and Friday's Bellator 241 will be held in front of an empty arena.

Only fighters and corners, and event and broadcast staff will be permitted in the arena,

The event is headlined by champ champ Patricio Freire defendijng his featherweight belt vs. Pedro Carvalho. It will also feature a quarterfinal fight in the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix - Emmanuel Sanchez vs. Daniel Weichel. The main card streams on DAZN at 10 p.m ET, following prelims on DAZN and Bellator's YouTube channel at 7:30 p.m. ET.
