Hey guys, A friend of mine who is a police officer and who also has trained with us at our BJJ school is in serious condition at a local hospital with a fractured skull after traffic stop turned bad. The suspect was shot and killed.
Josh Howard is a great guy, he and his wife are friends of mine and this really sucks. I really believe in the power of positive thoughts and prayers, so if you read this, please give a quick little prayer for a speedy recovery.

thanks everybody, law enforcement put their lives on the line every time they go to work.
Josh is pretty banged up but the injuries were not as bad as first thought. He left the hospital yesterday is recovering at home.
It was a routine traffic stop, somebody in the car decided to run, and Josh chased after him. There was a struggle and from what I was told, the guy went for Josh's gun, and somewhere along the way the guy got ahold of Josh's baton and hit him in the back and a few times in the face and back of the head..Josh still didn't go down and the guy was shot and killed.
He's lucky to be alive and I thank everybody who read this that put thought or prayer (whatever faith you may be) out there for him. I'm happy to be part of this community.
