I don't know why I never thought to flow into the wonderful arm triangle choke from this position. I always waste time fighting for the oddly difficult "telephone lock" and eventually I give up and just go for the TWL on the other arm. I'm busting out the arm triangle from the head-and-arm next time I roll! I feel it is one of the best top-side submissions in a real world situation, since you don't always want to break arms and deal with the Law.
