A perfect example of a fight where not a hell of a lot happened. Gil landed the biggest strike of the fight. Eddie got a couple of meaningless takedowns. To me the fight was a draw and giving 1 guy a W and 1 guy an L is totally arbitrary. 
Not only that.. it kinda sucked.

Eddie won and he did it after making the mistake of blowing his nose and not having his left eye for 2 rounds but I do think it's funny how he said gil will be the first one going for a takedown

Gil lost. He had a one eyed dude in front of him and never capitalized. If he threw kicks to the lead leg he could have brutalized it. If he actually let his hands go he could have done more damage instead he did nothing.

If mma judges were competent I think that would have been a case.
But I'm ok with how it went. I think Eddie finished strong and imo that's a big deal.

Well I think the boxing scoring system sucks. Gil rocked Eddie in rd 1. Rd 2 was uneventful. You give it to Eddie because of a takedown when Gil got right back up? Nah. Rd 3 went to Eddie. I have it a draw. It's not illegal to score a round 10-10. They should do that when there is no clear winner. I'm a huge wrestling fan but I don't think a TD should count for shit if the dude pops back up and you do no damage at all. I would love to see them "do it again brother" at sea level and for 5 rounds. Sure. I love both of those guys.
Looked like after the first round Gil took his foot off the gas.
The altitude fucked up a lot of fighters. I dont think Nate Marquardt wouldve lost that way.
