I guess I don't get why that is wrong... Phone Post

Because the original selling feature of BJJ is that you will win an unarmed one-on-one fight with no rules.

But that is not the scenario, in my opinion that has as much utility as pulling guard.

Point at which BJJ has "jumped the shark"????

I think a face stomp / axe kick with heel to face would put an end to that nonsense in the video Phone Post 3.0

You all are so ridiculous. There are tons of things you wouldn't do in a real life scenario that are used in competition. Marcelo butt scoots all the time! Vinny pulls off flying armbars! It's not a street fight and in NO WAY does competitive BJJ resemble real life combat.

Just a bunch of elitist crybabies in this thread. He didn't break any rules yet some of you would take extra steps to actually hurt this guy because you don't like what he did.

THAT is some pussy-ass shit, get over yourselves.

"If you pulled guard on me in competition, I'd just gouge your eyes out, that would put an end to pulling guard."

Defense is easy : just side step to the right !! Phone Post

New "Come at my bro" gif?

I think so!

:D

Guys... It's sport BJJ. It's a technique that works. Not everyone can do it... Some people have that style

It's not a street fight.

that guard is nothing that an axe kick wouldn't resolve.

bjj players are not fighting when playing bjj

I guess if you're playing bjj this is OK? Phone Post

A swift kick to the nuts would have made for a great vote down gif Phone Post 3.0
