I placed an order with defense soap the other day, and the shipping option I normally pick wasnt available, so I just picked another one.
A little while later my phone rings, and it is defense soap. They noticed I used a different shipping method than normal, so they went ahead and shipped my order with the cheaper option and refunded me the difference.
Also, my order always comes with a few extra sample sizes thrown in which is nice.
I have like a 45-50 minute ride home from training, so I like the wipes. That way I can get at least some of the funk off me before jumping in the car.
Respected forum member UFCSpyGuy gave me a gift certificate to the UG store, so I ordered my first bar of soap. I've never had any wormy infections, but I have tended to break out a little after a particularly brutal rolling session. This stuff is seriously amazing. Cleared up minor skin problems completely.
I keep meaning to get some of that stuff. Could be difficult to get in England though.

Anyone have first hand experience with the essential oils product they sell for treating infections? My wife is a vet tech and picks up ring worm occasionally from the dogs that come in. How quickly does it treat an infection compared to over the counter jock itch cream?

I'm on my second bar & totally dig it. It offers a peice of mind in knowing I am doing my part to keep my gym clean. I live in Canada & my gym occasionally has it, but I'm curious about the wipes & other products. Is it worth it for a fella to order some to Calgary, AB? It wouldn't be a big order because I don't own a gym.
I feel like I live in the desert of anyhting mma and the last time I had something shipped (some gear from the UG store) I got stuck with cost of delivery + $50 cross boarder tax. Needless to say, I'm a bit gun shy now.

You can give it a shot, but the defense pure essential oils and the healing salve DID NOT help a very minor case of ringworm I had. It dries it out very well, but the infection lasted longer than if I had used straight Terbinafine or other over the counter medication.
When I was younger I was very ill and on lots of antibiotics, which I believe had a very negative effect on my ability to fight off bacteria infections, because at least 2 times a year I get ringworm. I shower before class, after class, and after any working out. I've become pretty adept at spotting it. I've never had a breakout worst than 1 ring though because I spot it immediately and treat it immediately.
How long on average it takes me to remove ringworm in different cases. 1 person doesn't equal a scientific study, but I am just giving you my results.
Defense Pure Essentials - 5-6 weeks to remove single ring on wrist
Over the counter Lamasil cream - 3-4 weeks to remove single ring on hand
Over the counter Lamasil pills - 1 week to remove a ring on face
Illegal veternary medicine - 48 hours to remove ring on arm
Even after the ring dissapeared I continue treatment for about 2 weeks.
So if your wife works at a vets, than use the strong stuff they use on the pets!! Trust me, it works better than anything else you can find for humans! I wish I could remember the name of it, but it was suggested to me once by a wise wrestling coach at my BJJ school and I bought some on a pet pharmacy website. I no longer have the bottle or I would give you the chemical name.

I like defense soap! It kind of smells like floor cleaner to me. But that's awesome because it makes me feel sterile!
I'm sold on the stuff, it's actually almost time for me to re-up on the liquid soap.
