TheCorrect - Right, I'm an idiot for observing the fact that Jackson does his best to coach the aggression out of his fighters & turn them into game plan performing robots.
Apparently you are if you don't think Jon Jones, Donald Cerrone, and Leonard Garcia, all of whom are coached by Jackson are aggressive. You are making generalizations that 10'ers and 11'ers have made popular. Being an 03'er you should be ashamed of yourself...

All those fighters you listed have the same spirit as Condit. They are aggressive in spite of Jackson, not because of him.

TheCorrect - One of the reasons I love Condit so much is because he won't allow Greg Jackson to tame his killer aggression.
Agreed 110%
It will be cool to see how GSP reacts to this
Uh... you might have missed Greg Jackson in his corner all through his career... having trained him since he was 15 years old....
Greg was never in Condits corner in the WEC.
While that is true K-Dub is still right for the most part. Carlos started off with Jackson left for a brief stint to go to another camp there in Albuquerque, then to Arizona, and now obviously has recently returned. While not a %100 right his point is still more valid than the idiot who took a jab at Jackson...
Yes.
No -
Carlos was coached and cornered by Tom and Arlene Vaugh for the vast majority of his early career, his tenure at Jackson s was pre-MMA (H.S age) and in the last couple of years.
The Correct--what was it, the Condit v. Ellenberger fight where Condit was kind of taking it easy and in danger of losing a decision until Greg started screaming at him at the end of r2 to "go to war! Go to War!" Go watch that fight and tell me about how Greg was telling Carlos to be machine-like and safe.
AsTom Vaughnsees it,Carlos Conditdid what most kids do at some point: flee the nest. Following nine years of shared experiences in Vaughn's gym, where Condit morphed from a lanky 15-year-old into one of the best 170-pound mixed martial artists, the highly regarded fighter severed ties with his longtime trainer late last year.

I've actually heard Jackson do that a couple of different times. You said the key phrase yourself though. Condit was in danger of losing a decision.

Carlos Condit: I started MMA in high school when I was about 15. I went down to Greg’s school and checked it out and started training. The rest is history.

Mods please change this guy's name to "In-Correct" and his join date to 11. He will fit in more that way.
I did say it was an observation from the start. I still feel that way about Jackson as a coach, but I recognize that others may not share that opinion.

Fair enough?
Yeah, you can have whatever opinion you want. I have opinions about certain fighters that a lot of people don't agree with. I was probably out of line calling you an idiot earlier. Just kind of a reflex on here sometimes with some of the people you have to deal with.
sevr1 - If you guys would read my post, your Jackson's/not Jackson's argument would be finished...
I read it and it was good enough for me. Sounds like you would have more knowledge on the subject than I would. I was just pointing out what Carlos said himself contradicted what Fat Guy's Food posted.
When will people realize that GJ is not GSP's coach. he is more just a gameplan/corner man for GSP. He brings GJ up to MOntreal the last few weeks to tweak gameplans and to be in his corner for the fight.
