When Georges fights Condit what is Greg to do? It would seem unthinkable that Jackson would ever have a dilemma as to who to pull for in a GSP match, but a couple weeks back St. Pierre claimed he was no longer training at Jackson's Gym as he pretty much did all of his training at Tristar in Montreal now, but that he still had Jackson under contract to corner him for a few more fights. I found the last part odd when I read it as though there may be some doubt after that contract expires.
Add to that the fact that an Albuquerquie homeboy who started out in Jackson's gym and appears to be a mainstay with all of his roots in the area is fighting Gregs export wonder child who is coming off a serious knee injury..........I now wonder what is going through Greg's mind, but more so what is in his heart? Does he really take one corner over the other? Will he give his Champion who trains in Canada advice on how to beat one of his own adopted sons? If so, can George really trust that he is getting the best advice possible?
If anybody has any insight into this I would love to hear it. If there is anything I have not heard, or missed on the UG already I would apprecciate some information on what seems to be a legit conundrum for Greg Jackson.
The ethical thing to do would be to train neither of them
Zahabi is the main man at GSP's corner anyways. Winkeljohn and Jackson can focus on Condit.
Cut off his own ears and eat them.
tumn - Cut off his own ears and eat them.
That's awesome!
I guess we'll get the answer when we see which fighter looks more exciting come fight night.
Really, GSP should just leave Greg Jackson... he hardly trains with him
I believe GSP is no longer affiliated with Jackson's.
It should work wonders for Georges' fight appeal.
GSP never trained exclusively at Jacksons and now says he no longer Trains there. Normally Greg does not train either if there are two of his fighters fighting each other however in this case he will probably train Carlos I would assume since GSP does not train there anymore...
It will be interesting to see if he trains JBJ for the Rashad fight because originally he said he would stay out of it when they were originally slated to fight while both still trained there. However Rashad does not train there anymore so why not?
ehx - i'm not even sure what the guy does
hes like that guy from office space that deals with the costumers so the goddamn engineers don't have to
MMACANUCKFAN - GJ already said when they where previously scheduled he would step aside and not train either.
He should have that mentality for all his fighters cause he sucks.
"He should have that mentality for all his fighters cause he sucks."
Totally sucks... so bad infact that two of his fighters are facing each other to determine who is the best in the world at 170 ... God aweful

It has been determined that he will be cornering Jones for the fight. This is different though.

Oh great show, my favorite part is when he is sitting in his full body cast " you see guys, if you wait good things can happen for you"
he is going to have to teach condit to run even faster
he is going to have to teach condit to run even faster
^ Jakob two two, is that you?
he's going to tell both fighter to "win some points"
Count his money and laugh at anyone telling him to change a thing
