GSP CANT EVEN FINISH HIS DINNER....

eljamaiquino - Anderson has finished many 185'ers as champ. He has 2 decision wins as champ. GSP has twice as many decision wins and has not finished a legit 170'er as Champ EVER...

Anderson also has an infintive number of fights where he basically did nothing. Even when GSP is winning he is still attacking...

So GSP has twice as many decisions as champ but have infinitive less rounds dancing, running, and not fighting...
(Watch Anderson vs. Cote/Leites/Maia for examples)

The Mouth -  Yes... he beat Josh's ass....

NOT ONE TIME did he have Josh on the ropes or even in trouble.

please just STFU and GTFO w that nonsense.

Kostakio -  If you don't like his style, that's too bad 'cause unless someone does something about it (KOs or submits him), he's going to remain the champion for a long time. Phone Post
GSP will forever be known as the #2 welterweight in history... this is very disappointing... but very sad actually...

gameplan #1
takedown, hold them down.

gameplan #2
jab. jab. jab. kick. jab. jab.

Brock75thRanger - ufc has less then half of the top 185ers

ufc has every single top 170er

yeah,
nick diaz, paul daley, askren, etc....those guys suck!

he's afraid to fully commit even when he is dominating a fight

Why are you disappointed and sad?   Makes no sense whatsoever.  You hate on GSP all the time.   Like some child that was spurned or something.

Not really.  GSP has some legitimate skills... just too scared to use them... Matt Hughes was one of the greatest finishers in MMA history.  GSP is a joke in this regard....

Matt Hughes was destroyed and finished by GSP twice in a row so...

He's not afraid of fuck all if you ask me.   He hasn't ducked anyone, fought the best in the division since he's been in the UFC.  Seemed to me he was pretty commited in busting KOS up and he did.

Why aren't the challengers going after him?   Are they scared?   No...it's because he's that good.

Challengers don't go after him, because he is so good at timing the takedown when they do come in. GSP always hits that strong double leg takedown when his opponent comes in too aggressive. It's his wrestling that gets his opponents gun shy when they fight him.

Magic8 -
Peoria Athletic Club - finishing world class guys is tougher than you think... especially when they wont engage.

LOL@ this shit.   Kos was standing right in front of George the entire fight!

No, he backed away for most of the fight, and didnt engage very much, other than trying to jump in from time to time (usually to get smacked with a hard jab). This is why he ate so many inside leg kicks, way to willing to back off rather than come forward.

I guess the DFW T.U.F. crowd misses alot of the actual technical side of fighting and look for stand and wangs.

How about you name off the skills he was "afraid" to use.....

But wait.... he's afraid to stand remember?

GSP puts every fighter in such a state of survival and defense it's all they can do to stay awake and watch the clock run down.

If Kos did anything but dart out of the way of almost every attack, then maybe the fight would have been a little different.

The last guys to attempt anything offensively on the feet were BJ, Alves and Fitch and looked what happened to them. GSP can seriously hurt people if they want to take it to next level... that's why Kos and Hardy basically stopped doing anything but survive, the beating you get at that pace is much easier to take.

The only people running the clock down to a decision are his opponents. Good for them, they can tell their grand-kids they lasted all 5 rounds with the greatest fighter in the world.

It's so simple to understand. What do people get out of hating GSP? Not a fave, sure, but obsessing seems unhealthy.

Koscheck landed 1 strike in an entire round of a title fight when down by 3 rounds. Who was avoiding who?

The same people who are ragging on GSP for not finishing Koscheck are probably the same people who ragged on Machida for not finishing David Heath.

Arguably, both Heath and Kos were focusing on not getting finished rather than really going all out to win, at least in the later stages of the fight anyway (see also Rodney Wallace when he fought Phil Davis at UFC 117).

there was nothing boring about watching that dick Kos get his ass kicked for 25 mins. Im glad it didnt end early!

I feel sorry for MMA fans who only care about the result, not the fight itself.
