To expect St. Pierre to throw wildly is just retarded. He looked for openings and threw several hooks and kicks when they presented themselves.
As St. Pierre said, Koscheck is not an easy guy to finish. In twenty fights, he's been knocked out once and submitted once. Even the submission was very early in his career.
Blasting St. Pierre for not finishing this fight would be like blasting Couture for not finishing Tim Sylvia. Get over yourselves.
I like the way people forget that Silva was responsible for two of the worst fights in the history of the UFC, against opponents he was heavily favoured against no less. He hardly set the place alight against Cote either, and that was another lesser opponent.
GSP's recent decisions have been against fighters that are extremely hard to finish- Alves, Koscheck and Fitch- and he was actively engaging, and dominating, the whole time.
The only blot is that he didnt manage to finish one of the subs on Hardy but it's inconsequential- he owned him for 25 minutes and his opponent managed to survive. It happens sometimes, finishes aren't guaranteed.
Silva on the otherhand could easily have been deducted points for passivity against Leites and Maia.
