goku -Chris Power - I've never understood why everybody flat out loves Nick Diaz's boxing.correct..but even with these deficiencies, hes one of the best boxers in mma...there arent too many good boxers in mma...can you name many that are better than nick?
He's very good, don't get me wrong, but he gets hit A LOT. Not just a bit, Diaz gets perpetually drilled in the face in fights. The reason he gets away with such defensive deficiencies is because he has one of the best chins in MMA history.
Brilliantly offensive, but his defense leaves a LOT to be desired.
penn, vitor, silva are possibly better in terms of technique..not sure of many others

Whe GSP says Diaz has the best boxing in the UFC I think what he means is that he puts his punches together in combination the best, the comment really has nothing to do with defense, head movement or the overall picture. And I totally agree, Nick puts his punches together better than anybody I can think of. His combinations to the head and body are a rare sight in the octagon and he has a style that works well for him. There are a lot of things he could do better but his combinations and the volume he produces are a thing of beauty.
People might bash me but I think Condit is going to finish Diaz.
I think people are severely underestimating Condit. I think he takes this fight.

Im a diehard Diaz fan, but If you think Carlos dropping Nick at some point and swarming him for a TKO finish is out of the realm of possibility then you are sadly mistaken.

He could. I want Diaz to win but he doesn't check kicks to well and leaves himself open to knees for guys who know how to throw them. People are underestimating CC big time.
