It’s just weird that we 've always heard that the top names made way more than the “official pay”. I believe them, certainly including GSP now, but how can that be?
We even heard back in the day of “locker room bonuses”. mafia style. But I don’t think the IRS would like that, nor the UFC not being able to deduct these amounts as expenses!
Official pay is what’s reported to athletic commissions, not the irs. There’s really nothing official about it at all.

Thus, the implementation of the “instant 6 fight extension” upon winning a title. You do not get to fight for the title if you do not agree. The UFC made sure they would never put themselves in that position again.
GSP had legit management and the UFC hated her.
his manager got canned because she went on Sherdog radio and revealed the publicized PPV numbers were often bullshit. she knew the real numbers because GSP had to get his cut of the profits. the day after that appearance both GSP and Frankie fired her.
Barack a small welterweight, who knew? I always figured him a full sized middleweight. With a reach advantage.

And she sued GSP if I remember correctly.
I had met that manager. She was friendly and all to me. I had then sent her a business proposition for GSP by email with a video… which seems was very rare back then as it made me stand out.
She managed tennis players IIRC. I don’t think she was let go because she mentioned PPV numbers! Why would it matter unless Dana specifically asked for that not to happen?
