GSP vs Shields PrimeTime Aired on ESPN2

tonight

interesting, no?

Especially with spike's contract negotiations coming up soon. ESPN dropped poker right so maybe they want to fill those slots.

that's what I'm hoping for but we'll see what happens

The only show (MMA related) that is on ESPN2 tonight is MMA Live at midnight.

So Primetime aired LAST NIGHT on ESPN 2?

What time did it air?

Well, EBM, your listings are wrong. Because it was most definitely on ESPN2 last night a half hour before it was scheduled to start on Spike. Josh Gross even tweeted about it wondering why it was on.

I believe ESPN2 showed episode 1 & 2 back to back at 11:00 and 11:30 pm eastern. Someone texted me last night that it was on and I switched and sure enough, there it was.

 interesting...

GetJimiPosterBoyInTheUFC!, that isn't my listing - that's directly from UFC.com.

And from ESPN.com, ESPN2 listed: 2011 All-Star Football Challenge from 11:00pm to 1:00am

The "2011 All-Star Football Challenge" airing now on ESPN2 sure looks like UFC Primetime.

Interesting....UFC PrimeTime GSP vs Shields Episode 1 is airing on ESPN2 right now, wonder if that is a ufc time buy or espn move to expand?

interesting, thanks for the info Mike.

"UFC president Dana White today confirmed the series will continue to air on ESPN2 as the UFC continues to look for increased viewership on a variety of networks.

"We have it on Spike TV, ION Televesion, Fuel TV, ESPN2 and Versus," White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "We have a good relationship with everyone."

White declined to describe the specifics of the relationship or to speculate on whether the appearance of the in-depth UFC 129 preview show on "The Worldwide Leader in Sports" could potentially lead to further programming on the ESPN family of networks.

"As we continue to grow, who knows what could happen," White said. "ESPN covers sports, and it's great to see them cover the UFC."
