I use something like it from when I have a arm bar from side control and they have their arm locked . I just reach under their head and grab my shin to apply the pressure

Not trying to shit on the technique but I don’t see the point of doing that when you are in such a dominant position with the Kimura and if that doesn’t work, then the MOST dominant position with the back take.
