has ian freeman lost respect?

Ian speaks his mind and is an emotional guy. I know some people don't like that, but he'll always have my respect.

i'd love to see them go at it again

Do you guys honestly believe that Mir is the same fighter now as he was during the Freeman fight?

If so you guys need to get off the net and start training.

Freeman took advantage of an inexperienced Mir. Don't let your unreasonable hate for BJJ and Frank Mir make you post stupid sh@t. You guys sound so clueless when you post that stuff.

I've said it before and I will say it again.

Mir getting his ass kicked by Freeman is the best possible thing that could have happened to Frank.

Ian Freeman is a high level fighter,in my opinion. Could fight for a belt after a win or two,no problem. He may have gone off a bit half cocked on what he THOUGHT Frank had said, but we are all perfect here and have NEVER done that before, right guys?(shakes off dripping sarcasm).Sounds to me like he got some bad info at a sensitive time, I can understand how that can happen.

Personally, I don't give a rat's ass and a cat fart if Ian doesn't like Frank. Don't care. I don't care if Ian OR Frank is a complete jerk or a saint outside the fight game. I like to see them both fight, and I think a rematch is a good promotional event. Frank should want to revenge the loss, and Ian should have a chance to prove that the first fight wasn't a fluke. I am very interested in seeing them fight again, but I don't give a shit about the soap opera that's rolling around here. Time to move on and get back to the fight game or start watching Dr. Phil.

That Is All! ;)

Racer X is very wise and I agree with everything he just said. Ian Freeman still has my respect, I could care less about eveyrhitng else.

Still respect Ian as a fighter.

It's way to easy to say "you should have got it from the horses mouth" if you don't know what it feels like for that sort of thing to happen to you.

When my father-in-law passed away from cancer, i would have reacted the same way if someone had told me someone had said that sh*t. I would have then found it extemely difficult to confront them and ask them about it some time later.

I would love to see Ian & Frank go at it again. But it would be just as good to see Ian in the octagon against any HW. I was gutted when Ken couldn't fight.

Anyway, thought you were excellent in Britains Hardest Ian. When will we see you on tv again??

Ian is one of the most exciting fighters in the sport.

Kirik is correct.

Wish the UFC would put him back in there. Or Pride. Or anybody who would broadcast the fight on TV so I can watch it.

It was an cheap way to angle for a rematch. And it wasn't well done.Tacky.

Freeman lost to Tiger White in his last UFC fight. Well, he should've lost the fight.

He needs to chalk up some wins first.

Win, lose, Freeman is exciting to watch. He comes to brawl and seems like a straight-up .

i dont rank freeman as a TOP UFC fighter 3-2-1, but that's just my opinion. but he has beat the guy at the top of the food chain. He is also alot better than me, so im not gonna talk smack like other trolls.
As for respect, i have only met the guy a couple of times when he used to be a doorman, seemed like a really good guy and he has done well to establish himself in the sport and seems to have a great attitude, so that's not a question! the guy deserves respect! I have also heard that he is very good to train with, which in the future i would like to find out first hand.
Ian i hope whatever you decide to do in life pays off for you, whether it be re-entering the octagon, being a trainer, promoting pride and glory, or being on britains hardest...just realised how busy you are!

keep up the good work and dont be offended by my ranking of you in the UFC hopefully you can prove me wrong

Ian Freeman is a fighter's fighter. He trains to hit hard and deliver punishment to win. But, he is also skilled enough to use finesse when he needs to. Beating Mir was NOT a fluke. Take a look at Mir trying to walk after the breakup; those were hard blows that would stop ANYONE in the business.

As far as losses go, the UFC delivers mixed signals to most of the fans. They put guys on their card that lose but are simply good fighters. My favorite saying is, "If you never fight, you'll have a perfect record." What I don't say is that if you fight, you'll find that guy who will beat you. Also, there is something to be said for looking good even though you lost. Anyone can have a bad night and I can tell you from first hand experience that focus is key to winning - and having an opponent switched out from you close to your fight is probably one of the most un-focusing thing you can have done to you as a fighter. Because it has happened to me SOOOO many times (fighters cancelling) that I now only prepare to fight - my fight techniques (striking, kicking, grappling, cardio) and I don't even look at my opponent anymore. I wish I could but reality doesn't support it anymore. That guy you work hard for as a kicker turns out to be a world class boxer!

Ian would have beaten Ken because that's where his focus was for months of his training. I'm not usually that outspoken but I truly believe that based upon knowing both of my friend's abilities.

But, I'd still like to see that fight.

Ian is a classy fighter that most of the people on the street can identify with. That's why he was and remains popular with the fans throughout the world.
