Has Rogan jumped the shark?

With this bs about Ronda beating half the men's roster at 135? Phone Post 3.0

Its just promotion i think..but Ronda is a beast no doubt, i wouldn't be suprised Phone Post 3.0

I think so. He has been damaging his credibility a lot. It's hard to take him serious any more.

I wouldn't doubt if Zuffa gave Rogan some kick back money to try and sway his podcast masses against the war on PPv, because he has gone off towards the deep end a few times with gossip, and articulated trash talk. Phone Post 3.0

He's been making some pretty outrageous statements lately, I don't know if he's picked up some new weed or if this wacky sub zero therapy is freezing his fucking brain cells. Phone Post 3.0

Yeah that's crazy Joe, come on now. Phone Post

Rogan is a smart guy and a huge fan of all combat sports, so I really believe the UFC does push certain agenda to get the fans to buy their garbage.  He's a Zuffa employee.

Never go full retard.

He's just more willing to tow the company line these days and push whatever agenda they give him. I doubt he actually believes any of the outlandish claims he makes while promoting the UFC brand.

^^ Highly doubt its 'his' opinion...More like the opinion of his boss to sell PPVs

take a break from alpha brain

It's a combination of "Hike up your socks Zuffa people" and Joe basically being a walking hyperbole.

Everything is always the "Best x ever" or "Worst x ever". Baby leg kicks are fight deciders, people are done when a sub that would put him out is locked in on someone without question, then he gets proven wrong.

It's great when he hits on a moment perfectly and plugs into an overall feeling on something, but when he goes out on a limb while everyone else is like "Um, why are you jumping out of your seat? He got out of it" he hangs like a meatball on the mistake.

The additional problem is Goldberg is waiting for his cues to layer ontop of it, so when Joe is wrong then it's a chain of events.

This stuff though turns into a new hyperbole about some other hyperbole fed on short memory and this one in particular is a completely unique situation so there's no debatable proof to prove him right or wrong. The whole thing operates on this battle of the sexes heresay about which professional men the best woman of x profession can beat, you'd figure he'd see the difference but following Dana now they just leave it out there and don't care.

If it's working on casuals and she outdrew Pettis and Lawlers las fights at 182... I guess mission accomplished, but that kind of makes Pettis and Lawler's hype non-existent and sad.

DaveAP - Before it was just him and goldberg, now theres tons of good commentators like Stann/Hardy and so forth. Could just be keeping himself talked about. I like when he gives his opinion, I don't need to agree with his opinion either.
Stann your kidding aren't you he's not in joes league paying to listen to brian stann would be hard to do Phone Post 3.0

There's a whole sea of PC race/class/gender-obsessed people who welcome this idea of Joe's that Ronda is on par with the male 135'ers. What Ronda is doing is great, and I love watching her fight. But this has a huge potential to become something political in nature, and that part I don't like. If it keeps going like this, it will no longer be about fighting, but female empowerment and so on. You think there's hyperbole now? Wait a year. It's going to be 10x what it is now.

I'm curious what Cruz's thoughts are on all this as, this is his division. He's a loyal UFC guy but would he really throw his own competition under a bus for the UFC Ronda machine?

It's only getting worse too, Edmond will start saying she could have beat Hallman and it will just grow into something no one will risk testing.

However this whole thing is the defintion of "Talk is cheap"

DaveAP - Some one needs to give rogan the "joe rogan talk"

I think you'd be surprised

LoL and true.

Just like Bones is hated because MMA fans are all racists... Rogan has definitely lost his mind with this nonsense he keeps spewing.
