Hashad and Vitor training together (pic)

Dogmeat 1 - while Rashad could feasibly make 185 as he is not a huge LHW, it is foolish to try to judge someone's weight based on height alone. Rashad is about 2 inches shorter than Vitor so of course he is going to look smaller when they are wearing clothes and posing in a 2 dimensional image. However Rashad likely outweighs Vitor by about 10 pounds and has a thicker/stronger build overall with more weight carried in his torso and legs which would be more easily recognizable if you were to see both of them in real life together.

Reach is a big advantage for certain fighters depending on their style, but for someone with a style like Rashad's speed and power are the more important attributes. With his relatively stocky build he usually has the advantage in athleticism which has allowed him to be so successful against much taller and heavier fighters. 185 might be good for him if he can get there without sacrificing any of his current strength. However odds are he is going to have to lose a further 10 pounds or so to get within a comfortable cutting range which and IMO there is little net benefit for him going to 185.

I've repeated this on many other threads but there is little evidence to support the notion it is good for fighters to drop down weight classes late in their careers. Moving up in weight is often the better/more successful option rather than trying kill their bodies via excessive weight cutting. Any problem Rashad has at 205 he is also going to face at 185, with the added problem of being more drained and weaker from the cut.

This. He is 220 walking around and he hasn't made that weight in like 10 years. That could really hender his performance.
