Dude never ceases to amaze me over his fawning over all things Conor. Oddly enough this sounds exactly like a thread on here about the UFCs handling of Conor.
I particularly like how he blames it all on UFC and says all Conor wants is a fight. NO Ariel, Conor wanted to be given an immediate title shot, or an interim title with Justin. He then goes on to say:
"No opponent? Hogwash.
Who says no to a Nathan Diaz trilogy in an empty arena? Imagine that theater.
Who says no to a Ferguson fight?
Who says no to a Jorge Masvidal fight?
Who says no to a Dustin Poirier rematch?
Shall I keep going?"
Too bad he completely looks over the fact that Conor wont accept any of THOSE fights, save maybe the Diaz fight. Sounds like Ariel is out of touch or he is acting as COnor’s PR guy

Are you amazed every day when the sun comes up? Ariel fawning over Conor or GSP is business as usual.
Conor would never agree to, and the UFC would never schedule a Conor fight with no fans in attendance. Don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out why Conor isn't fighting. Ariel loves creating drama though.

I keep seeing people say the UFC won’t book Conor because of no live gate but how does that make any sense? They need all the PPV buys they can get and best believe it would have way more eyes on it right now. There’s no live gate right now anyways, just have him fight now and he can still fight when live events come back.
Ariel is great and he knows what he’s talking about. He just spoke to Conor a few days ago. He teased the Manny boxing match cause he wants to fight but ufc wants to wait till fans can be in attendance to make money off the gateÂ

The UFC is saving money not having a live gate. PPV is where the $$$ are.
The Manny fight might actually happen. Him and Conor have the same manager, and Conor’s friend is that gangster/promoter who runs combat sports in Bahrain and just got Tyson Fury a fortune to fight Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia. That dude has a hand in a lot of big boxing matches now. Manny’s 42, he’s not getting another potential payday like this. He puts Conor to sleep in 2 rounds and makes 10x whatever other fight is on offer.

The fact that he thinks the UFC doesn’t want Conor to fight is amazing. They offered him several fights, Conor said so himself. He said they were dumb opponents that he didn’t think made sense, and that he wanted Gaethje…the guy who just won the interim title and was set to fight Khabib.
Khabib vs Gaethje made sense for the UFC, and both fighters wanted it. Conor got mad he couldn’t have the exact fight he wanted, so he grabbed his ball and went home. It’s as simple as that. He’s been offered fights and keeps turning them down.
If he wanted to fight Nate Diaz, they’d book that. They’d book any of the fights Ariel is talking about.

Conor would make a great addition to any GPS app because he knows all the shortcuts.
